Today, I got an email from DataRobot. They’ve published a marketing piece called “Intelligent Process Automation: Boosting Bots with AI and Machine Learning.” In working with Pomorol Partners in Chicago, I saw a demonstration of DataRobot’s software. Recently, a local staffing firm has started another company that screens job applications automatically. My guess is that they are using some time of technology like DataRobot’s.
Having worked with data modeling for many years, I’m convinced that although information in resumes can be predictive of future employee performance and tenure, they are not as predictive as psychometric assessment results. Unleashing AI and Machine Learning of performance results and assessment data will be more more valuable to companies.
Nevertheless, it’s not either/or, it’s both/and.
